LDCC serves the largest geographic area of any community college in the state. With eight campuses in eight different parishes, the college covers a 2,100 square mile area and has about 7,800 combined credit and noncredit students. LDCC’s Act 360 projects include one new campus and significant updates to four other campuses.

The new Nursing, Welding, and Workforce Training Campus is anticipated to provide general education space, classrooms, administrative, security, and supportive areas. There will be space provided to support welding, industrial instrumentation, patient care, and a student services suite. Landscaping, signage, parking, and loading dock shall be provided for the facility, as required.
